Aikido Kokikai of WA is a branch of Aikido Kokikai Australia. Founded by Shuji Maruyama. Maruyama sensei has discovered that through the practice of Kokikai Aikido techniques we can reach the realization of the perfect human state. When our mind and body are co-ordinated and acting as one we are calm, natural and can avoid being upset by sudden challenges. Our training methods concentrate on the four principles of Kokikai Aikido and hence the development of our KI is immediately obvious in establishing effective self-defence movements

Michael Sinagra instigated the Peel branches of Aikido Kokikai in 1994 after three years of study with Shuji Maruyama in Japan. Michael is currently the head instructor in the Peel region and the West Australian director of Aikido Kokikai Australia.  He continually returns to Japan to update his study.  Most recently spending 2003 in Japan for a 12 month study tour.

There are classes for adults and children, advanced and beginners.
